HOW TO SEND MESSAGE BY COMMAND PROMPT | CHAT BY CMD

Do you want to chat with your friends in computer without using any social networks ?.Here is the simple technique to chat with your friends in computer by using command prompt.

This technique mostly helps the students or officers to chat with the co-workers without using any special application.To chat with your friends the computer systems must be connected with each other.(Wired or wireless connection).

To send a message,you need the destination address,that is the IP address of your friends computer.

Procedure:

• Open the Notepad and type the following codes

Goto A

• Now save this file as "Messenger.bat".
• Open the Messenger.bat file.
• Now command prompt window will appear and you will see as below

• After "User" type the IP address of the computer that you want to chat.(Destination address)
• Now click enter,The message field will be appeared.Like as shown below

Message:

• Now after the message field type the message that you wish to send.
• Now press enter,it should be look like this.

• Now again press enter.
• That's all.Now enjoy by chatting with your friends.

RAGGING IS TOTALLY PROHIBITED IN ANNA UNIVERSITY

What Is Meant by Ragging?
Ragging means display of noisy, disorderly conduct, doing any act which causes or is
likely to cause physical or physiological harm or raise apprehension or fear or shame or
embarrassment to a student in any educational institution and includes

i) Teasing, abusing or playing practical jokes on, or causing hurt to such student

or

ii) Asking the students to do any act or perform something which such student
will not carry out in the ordinary course, willingly

Punishment Includes

• Two years imprisonment
• Fire to the tune of Rs.2.5 lakhs
• Dismissal from the educational institution
• Shall not be admitted in any other educational institution

Hence students, if they are Seniors, are requested to refrain from the criminal act,&
Juniors are requested to report any ragging activity to the officials immediately without
any fear.

This is the punishment for ragging juniors in Anna University Chennai Campus.Like the same way in Anna university affiliated colleges also there are many punishments for the students who are ragging the juniors.

HOW TO CHECK WHETHER MY COMPUTER IS AFFECTED BY VIRUS OR NOT

Computer's working process is very slow:

If your Computer's working process is very slow,it might be infected by virus.We cant say 100% it was affected by virus.Because If your operating system is crashed or many unwanted application softwares are added in the windows start-up,this may leads to slow down your system.So by seeing the slow working process of a computer,we cant say the particular system is affected by virus.

How to Check whether my computer is Infected by virus or not:

Checking Method-1

Open Task Manager (By clicking alt+ctrl+del  or Type 'Task Manager' in Windows search option) .

If your Task Manager window is not responding, then your system might be infected by virus.

Then in the Task Manager window,Select the 'Processes' Tab.Just note the 'CPU usage'

If your computers CPU usage is 100% and stable, then 96% your system must be infected by virus.

Checking Method-2

• Open 'My Computer'
• Open any one of your Local Disk (If u opened E disk)
• In the Title Bar, Type E:\Autorun.inf ,
• If any file opened, then 90% we can tell that your system must be infected by virus

Now if you found that your system is infected by virus, you want to remove the virus.You can remove the virus by scanning your whole computer files by using good anti-virus softwares else we can remove some type of virus manually.

How to remove virus manually without Antivirus software:

• Open Task Manager (By clicking Alt+Ctrl+Del or Type 'Task Manager' in Windows search option).
• Click the Processes Tab
• In Processes window, find which process occupies more CPU usage and just remove that particular process by right click --> End Process.
• And now manually search that particular file and delete that file.
